can someone help me with my power door locks?
ok, it was a long process to get my power everything installed, it took me about a week to do with me diving in not knowing what i was doing. after all was said and done, my power windows work, my power mirrors work, but not my power door locks.
i took my car to good guys to ask him if they could hook it up. but apparently the installers best adivce was to go on honda-tech. *shug* go figure.
so can anyone specifically tell me what ExACTLY i need to make them work. i got the entire power assembly from 2 si doors (whole doors) i have a 98 EX floor harness, and i have the relay for the windows. what else do i need to make this thing work?

sorry if its OT but, i was wondering if you could possibly post a pic of the floor harness. I'm in the middle of doing the conversion and would like to know how the floor harness looks like. TIA

sorry i don't know the answer to your question...
but soon i will begin the process of converting man to power, how much did everything cost you? i would ask you whats involved but i'll save that for a search when im bored... so the cost will suffice
bump for ya.

I've done it to a few EG's but i'm not familiar with the EK specific wiring. I can say this though, Check all your connections and fuses. When I installed my power windows I thought I had fucked up the pasenger side but it turned out that I had just installed a bad fuse. You ARE using the stock honda wiring right?

JUN EK9 - Did you ever figure this out? I did the same thing by swapping the doors and the harness and the pdl are the only thing that doesnt work. I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks

Re: can someone help me with my power door locks? (Del Sol S)
Hi. Any help would be MUCH appreciated:
I just got done installing the following in my 94 Del Sol:
* power door lock soleniods in both doors
* power door lock relay box in passengers side door
* door switches etc
* 20amp fuse in the spot in the fuse box labeled (DOOR LOCKS).
* both left and right door wiring harnesses from the same car the rest of the PDL
stuff came from.
Power windows work just fine, no door locks, no power mirrors. Any advice?
