is it a del sol SI with the d16z6? if so turbo that motor if not then just swap in a SOHC vtec with a simple t25 turbo set-up and make over 200whp on 10psi and that looks like it will satiate your desires. As for your electrical problem it looks like you have a short in your ground system, check all your chassis grounds for corrosion and go from there.

no, get a helms manual or the similar (chilton, haynes) that has wiring diagrams in it....it will be confusing to look at for a little bit but you will begin to understand.....find the wiring circuit for the running lights and gauge cluster and see what color the ground wire is and follow it to where it is grounded if there is no location written in the book.

i see you are already searching for a z6 head that is good, a mini me will still be quite sufficient but don't pay too much considering you can get a whole SOHC VTEC ZC motor from hmotorsonline for i believe $500, and that is not a bad deal at all.

i dont think id do a mini me turbo. sounds like too many problems to run into. id find a d16z6 and drop the whole thing in. the boost that.
