im losiing power. new satge 1 clutch in w/ lighter flywheel and still vtec doesnt engage good. the solenoid screen is clean. good and fresh oil too. idk whats going on. its doesnt pull good like it used to or even really hear it?????

What do you have done to the car? Mods? What ECU are you running?

First thing I would do is check your oil pan. Does it have any dents in it? Sometime dented oil pans can damage the oil pickup tube.

 

nothing too major. just the stage 1 clutch. lighter flywheel. intake. skunk 2 cam gears. timing is good. its a p13. it came with the whole swap. my compression is good too.

 

Has is always run like it does since you got it, or is a recent thing that just started happening.

 

recent. when i first did the swap. its ran beautiful. and pulled so hard. it recently started so i replaced the clutch thinking that was part of problem. but nah still nothing. it feels lil better but no pull and just lack of acceleration.my rpms seem to be going up way to quick for how slow im going. i just know im losing power somewhere

 

Frankly, from reading on this board frequently, it sounds like your clutch is bad. I dont know for sure. But if your RPMs are going up, and your not moving, then thats a sure sign of your clutch. Double check your clutch and flywheel install. And Vtec not kicking in, check your oil pressure.

 

yah, check your clutch...revving and not accelerationg is usually a symptom of clutch failure/poor replacement

 

Get it on the dyno.
