clutch fluid problem
have you checked the slave cylinder for leakage, mine was leaking from there and couldnt find it for awhile. or possibly the clutch master cylinder. it has to be going somewhere you just have to find it.
It has to be leaking some where if the system is running dry.
Check the under the dash where the Master is and the carpet below to see if any fluid is leaking inside.
Check the Slave and Hardline, have someone push on the Clutch Pedal and see if you can see a leak on the Slave or any where on the Hardline.
The Hardline and Damper are prone to leaking.. Something else, and you're going to have to replace it as it's going to probably continue to get worse..

This would be my thought as well. I'd definitely check the slave if you haven't already.
I don't want to create a new post for the sake of being ridiculed, and I apologize for piggybacking on this thread...but if anyone has advice, I have clutch fluid issue also.
I thought mine was leaking from the slave so I bought a new one, but haven't replaced it yet because this appears not to be the problem. Every so often the fluid suddenly is low...seems there's a leak somewhere in the lines. Any idea how to find it?

Yeah, I got one. Look.
lol. Follow the line back and check it the whole way. How hard is that?

Do this. Pull back the driver's side floor mat and feel the carpet under it. Sometimes people don't know that their clutch master cylinder is leaking because it leaks at a point where the fluid runs behind the floor mat. Check that.

Fortunately that doesn't appear to be the issue. It's never been damp. Talked to my mechanic & he agreed prolly the slave too. I'm going to try and replace the slave tomorrow. Course he recommended replacing the master at the same time
... Is it stupid just to do the slave?

Yeah, if you can I would change it too. However, it isn't imperative you change it.
If I were you I would go ahead and change the slave. Then when Spring comes around, change the master.
Changing the master cylinder isn't too hard. The hardest part is getting to the nuts that hold it to the firewall.

Good point. Thanks.
