Default need help

I was driving my car in the freeway and i step on my clutch then it suddenly didn't come back up so i could get it in gear anyone know the problem.

what kind of car? Clutch got caught in the carpet maybe?

Do this, also check for leaking fluid. The clutch system is incredibly simple, so it shouldnt be that hard to figure it out. You have a clutch pedal, it attaches to the clutch master cylinder, which pumps fluid through a tube and hits up the slave cylinder. Thus, you only have 2 parts that you really have to worry about. Also, have you checked your fluid level? That will tell you real quick if its a leak or not. Also if the fluid is too low then fill it back up for a quick fix (given you have to fix the leak sooner or later).
