Thanks

Yeah there are two little bulbs on the top of the cluster that shine down. Check them and if that's not the problem change out the two main bulbs in the rear of the cluster.

I did pulled the gauge out once and checks the main 5 bulbs (1 x #194 bulb & 4 x #74 bulbs)
they all lights up and this should be why the whole gauge face can light up
are they not bright enough to shine the needles or
are there any more bulbs that actually shine down that I should check
or which 2 exact bulbs I should check ?
BTW, none of my bulbs have the blue rubber thing
Thanks for the reply and help
Really appreciate if I can see the needles again at night
lol ........

it could be the picture but it looks like you have the light dimmed all the way down jus turn it up and even if they needle lights are out it should be bright enough to read.
Here I tried to use your picture as a reference point... But where I circled in yellow is about where they'd be, they're on top of the cluster, closest to you if you were looking at the front, two little bulbs that shine down onto the needles... Sry for the crappy description but its the best I could do while at work
Look what I just found.....
"Pull out the dimmer switch in the left air vent and inspect it. I had the same problem you had, I was using indigo gauges and everything was fine, pulled them out and none of the dash/climate lights worked anymorel. Pulled out the dimmer switch and it looked burned on the inside. Well i replaced it and everything worked fine again."
Will the dimmer switch be a problem too ?

umm if the dimmer switch was busted but turned all the way down you'd still have light thru the gauges even from the top two. I would replace that switch anyways so you can at least make it brighter than before
but still check those two top bulbs, if thats no it then i dunno i'm out of idea's

You can get #74 and #24 bulbs from Autozone or CSK. The illumination for the cluster requires 4 #24 bulbs and 1 #194 bulb. The downward illumination is 2 #74 bulbs. The climate control is also 2 #74 bulbs.

Are you ******* kidding?
You get stock Honda parts at the Honda dealership.
By the way, if they don't fit, you're buying the wrong bulbs.
