Default 99 GSR gauge cluster into my 00 civic ex

will a 99 gsr cluster fit right into my 00 civic ex and be plug&play or is there modding i will have to do?

if i have to mod it what needs to be modded .

The shape of the cluster and bezel are similar, however, if you play with the plumber's strap a little, the gap at the top will be smaller. It won't be 100% like stock, but it will look decent. The only more challenging thing you will need to do is repinning your harness, but with time it shouldn't be difficult.

ok well i've decided that i'm just gonna get a CTR cluster instead cuz i want OEM fitment and i wanna keep the civic theme of my car (for looks parts anyways not motor) ... do i gotta rewire anything for the CTR cluster? cuz i know the needles light up on those.

Nope, plug and play. The needles light up due to bulbs, they are not lit up like the RSX cluster.

someone just told me that the SI cluster needles light up .. is this true?

SI needles do NOT light up. A light behind them kinda makes them look illuminated.

Integra needles are clear underneath so the light shines through
