I JUST WANT TO STATE THAT I AM NEW TO THE WHOLE BOOSTED THING SO PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF THIS HAS BEEN COVERED BEFORE.

HERE IS MY SITUATION....I HAVE A 98 DX COUPE STOCK D SERIES...BOOSTED IT A FEW WEEKS BACK,..THIS WASNT ONE OF THOSE BOLT ON KITS EITHER...IT WAS BOUGHT PIECES AT A TIME AND WITH SOME PIPE FABRICATION IT WAS ALL PUT TOGETHER....I AM RUNNING SMALL BOOST SINCE I DIDNT DO ANY INTERNAL WORK TO THE MOTOR...WELL TODAY MY RIGHT FOOT EXCEEDED THE HEADGASKETS LIMITS AND NOW I AM TAKING IT ALL APART....OK ON TO MY QUESTION...

I AM GOING TO ORDER A HEADGASKET FROM COMTICS BUT WHICH GASKET THICKNESS SHOULD I ORDER....I AM SORRY I AM NEW AT THE WHOLE FORCED INDUCTION THING BUT I FIGURED I SHOULD ASK AND LEARN BEFORE I MAKE BAD PURCHASES....

geez that caps hurts my eyes. You probably popped the headgasket because of a bad tune. D series heads will lift easy if the tune is off. Just replace it with another stock headgaskets, use some arp studs, and get it tuned.

this is the first boosted car i have had...and i am not going to give up....

any suggestions on where to purchase the studs?

OEM headgaskets are the best to get.
