brake problems

Default brake problems

i have a 90 honda civic with a b16a now the problem im having is when i use my brakes my calipers dont release it feel more like its the driver front, now i replaced the caliper wtih a rebuilt one, still nothing, could it be vacum?

Did you just do the swap and now brakes won't work? Need more details. Pics of the booster vac lines would help also.

Did you do any brake upgrade??

no it started way after the swap i changed out the master cylinder and both calipers it get to the point at times that my car can barly take off the

This sometimes happens when you change out the booster and the pushrod is out of spec. You can try adjusting it, which is a pain. There is a chance when you swaped MCs, that it may have preloaded the MC, engaging the brakes.

it feels a lot more like built up pressure when hit da brakes. when this problem is accurring my petal is hard to push in

Well if you changed master cylinder, both calipers...whats left? Are you sure its sticking in the front??? Did you get the correct MC??

same thing happened to me. after i drove it for a lil while the front would start locking up. for awhile i would just unhook the check valve to release vacuum but after i hit the brakes a couple more times it would just do it again. i tried adjusting the petal but that didnt help. i ended up cutting about 3/16 off the pushrod and it fixed it. hope this helps.

Def check your booster or pushrod. Also check your prop valve for uneven pressure upfront.

i ajusted the petal a bit seemed to work a lot better for now.thanx for all ur suggestions
