gsr rebuild questions......

Default gsr rebuild questions......

well i blew my motor, stock block didnt hold 15psi so i crack the slock sleeves, so now im doing a rebuild with a AEBS sleeved block from Iline Pro. Question is what gaskets/bearindgs do i need, i have purchase the following already.....

.....all from honda........
head gasket
intake gasket
exhaust gasket
rear main seal
front main crank seal
oil pickup gasket
oil pan gasket

rod baring (acl)
crank bearing (acl)
piston rings
head studs (arp)
thrush washer (acl)

am i missing anything????????

may want to look into some arp rod bolts, other than that, looks good.

u should get a new oil and water pump.

valve cover gasket kit. water pump. u dont really need oil unless yours is bad. those pumps are solid. shouldnt be a problem for reusing. if u have the tranny off then might as well do the oil seals too and the mainshaft seal. very cheap.

well my oil pump and water pump only has like 3000 miles on it so it should be good

boost doesnt kill engines, hp and torqe do. try getting new rods and maybe springs and retainers. or simply turning boost down or you'll blow it again.

just make sure its tuned good. and boost, untuned and ppl that dont know how to drive their car kills engines.

yeah as stated above, i have eagle rods now and my torque was at 230 and max on this graph is 316whp....... he couldnt find the other grph with 325 whp and i cant remeber the torque
