ok well my hand brake light comes on all the time. when i takje off up untill fourth gear it stays on then after im in fourth it goes off.
but sometimes if im in third and i let off the gas it turns off the it turns back on when i give it throttle i can seem to figure out why this is happening is it because my brakes are low in the rear or what i am stumped

 

perhaps the sensor/switch that detects whether or not your e-brake is up or down is going bad?

 

Have you checked your brake fluid level? Maybe its low. I had the same problem once. Filled my brake fluid reservoir and the light never came on again while driving. Also check the switch under your e-brake. It may be loose. Other then that I don't know what else it could be.

my brake light used to do the same thing. replaced the brake fluid cap and it was fine.

Ditto, Did a brake job, bled the system, no nlight for like 2 weeks, then it came on so I thought it couldn't have been the fluid, but it was.

 

mine has just started doing that the last 2 days but only when the car isnt heated up
