Default Higher FD + Launch techniques/clutch slipping

Going to the strip tonight for the first time in awhile.

JDM FD owns my launch. Makes things a lot more tricky. I found with a gtech that a 4k-4.5k dump with clutch slip after the revs start to build was most effective, 14.1 on street tires w/ passenger.

I don't know how many runs I'll get so I'd like some launch ideas to try before I go.
Runs will be on very worn Hoosier R3S03 race tires that are too worn to see a REAL TRACK again .

Reccomended psi?

My main question...
What is the best technique for clutch slipping? Should I try to maintain an even rpm at first tehn let it come up slowly? Anyone use the speedometer as a guide? I realize it all happens very quickly in that ever important 1st gear.

How should I approach the situation?

you want the tire with the softest sidewall possible
also you will find that what works well for you on the street will be WAY off
at the track. be prepare for lots and lots of wheelspin.

my suggestion is to find the tracks of rubber left by the race cars and try to
put your tires in those.
