high mileage del sol
i just punched a 93 del sol from my bro and i wont to do some work on it to pep it up a bit and i keep asking him for help and all he will tell me is no a good idear high mileage it has 200k on it and when he did a compression test on it it was clouse to 150 on all 4 what ever that ment what can i do to it safly

ok well i have found some info on this but what i want to no is if i put a exhaust or intack if it will harm my car where i have 200k and if not is there more that i can do

Uhm, yeah. Ok. Maybe remedial English would be a better investment than the car?
If you don't even know what a compression test is for, I would suggest you wait until you know a little more about engines before you start screwing with anything. Read the FAQ's on here, read about engines on howstuffworks.com, a few books (if you can).

To give you an honest opinion about your car. Miles won't mean anything as long as the engine and components are in good shape. That compression does sound a bit low so I would seafoam your engine completely to clean it and then run a leakdown test if needed.
As for an exhaust and intake, there would be no harm in it. You're only letting the car breathe better and not forcing air for combustion. So something like Turbo or Nitrous would be out of the question for right now.
Either way, make sure your compression numbers are a little bit better and the car is in great running shape before you do anything.

ok my bro is a *** and will not help me i found a diy one doing a compression test and i am going to try one after get one tomarro. what would a good engine have
swap it for a F20c the jdm sir-t motor. thats what im about to do.
