timing retard for nos
hey guys, can anyone tell me what to use to pull my timing 4deg for nos when i activate my system. and does s300 retard and activate ,or only activate nos. thanks in advance
Yes, hondata will allow for timing retard....I feel the best way to tune on Nitrous is to get tuned with Neptune and get a tuned map for Nitrous. We do this at Evans Tuning. You wire up a relay just as instructed on the Hondata website and then Jeff will tune the car safely with Neptune with a non NOS map and also a Nitrous map....
SO you guys tune cars? You in PA. Im in NJ and in December Ill be in need of a tuner, to tune my H22a with P72 with I/H/E. Do you guys have a dyno, im interested if this be so.

Im confused.....reference to Hondata and Neptune?!?!
I started a thread on Hondata.com awhile back....it appears that not many people use Nitrous with Hondata. I have an S300, but haven't used nitrous with it yet. I was running just a VAFC on my fast runs.
The nice thing about using a Name Brand EMS is that you can call customer support!

yes, neptune and hondata have secondary maps that can be used with the flip of a switch by using the extra outputs provided. All you have to do is wire it up and set it up in the program.
so with the secondary maps, there is no retard, you simply run lower ignition timing.

WOW I fell short of the decmber goal. I got everything but the chipped P72 and the tune. Had to put off modding car for awhile.

depends on the size of the shot. The MSD ignition is pretty much usless. The OEM is good enough.
As for S300 well a tuning system is always recomended anytime you do a mod.

what? Hope you have a lawyer who writes your testimony. I don't like hondata's deal right now either, but the product works. And wishing people blow up their motors is not going to be tolerated. Thanks.
