i was thinking about ordering a set of hids off mod express and i have a couple questions. i want a blue color and was wondering whether i should get 4k or 6k. also was wondering whether i should get the high and low beam or just low? thanks

 

I have 10000k and they are pretty blue but I can only tell you what I have experience with. And as far as the high beam goes its usually recommended that you go with a standard halogen type bulb due to the 'warm up' time that you have with HID bulbs.

 

honestly, 10K is way too blue and possibly get you pulled over... 6000K adds a bluish hue to the white, but if you're running with stock housing, you'll see a bit more blue mixed in... 4000K is closer to the white that you want to maximize light luminosity at night just my .02

 

Either 6000k or 8000k MAX. The higher ones just give less output, but for best output get 4300k-White.
