I think my 2000 civic with gsr swap blew the head gasket and is running on pure luck becuase I found oil in cylinder 4 spark plug it was as high as the plug and also the cars exhaust is always white at start up and during slow driving and i have to put coolant in every couple days, so is this my problem for sure? also when im driving, it drive fines and no loss of power, does not over heat up until recently but i looked under the hood the overflow hose blew off but now driving it home it heated up again and had plenty of coolant. tomorrow im also doing a compression test. tho any thoughts?

 

Sounds like a blown headgasket to me. Hopefully you havent ran it too hot, otherwise the head COULD be warped.

 

yea everytime its got to the red i would turn it off.

replaced the gasket seems to have no problems now.
