Default Best way to tune under/over steer...

I am thinking of doing it the following ways... Which are the better ways to do it, and why?

1) Tires - Wider tires up front, narrower in back. I am thinking this isnt a great method, since tires affect other things before just handling and I think it might be better to stick to wider tires on all 4 corners

2) Sway bars - manipulating sway bar combination to manipulate over/understeer

3) Strut adjustments (stiffness)

4) messing with camber

I know a good suspension setup is a mixture of all of these, but I am just wondering what are the pro's and con's to using each method to tune suspension.

Thanks, Jordan

you're right on track jordan. just set it up to go well with your driving style.
try different settings until you find one you like the best.
btw, wider tires on all 4 corners are better if you ask me. i'm usinig 225/45/16 and i'm really happy with them. i'm also using TEIN coilover/shock combo, eibach tower bars, and shopping for lower tie bars. i'll most likely get tanabe ones because i had them before i know they work great.
also getting rid of some weight will have some effect on handling as well, c/f hood, gutting the rear and trunk, etc...

1)swaybars. Easiest, safest, best way to get rid of understeer.
2)springs and shocks.
3)tire pressures. Messing with your tire pressures is a good way to tune handling characteristics, and much cheaper than using different tire sizes.

"eibach tower bars, "

Are these the strut bars? I never knew eibach made some for preludes. Just curious.

Thanks

I say gor for the sway bars they are the quickest and easiest to feel the difference in. Wider tires are great as well for putting the power down and hold the corners well.. if ya do go for wider tires 225 on stock rims are good..back tires sometimes catch on stuff and break...had it happen it sucks...
