Okay, in a couple of days i will be buying gc coil-overs and tokico illumnas for $700 shipped. I am planning on dropping my car so it sits perfectly on the 15" stock prelude si wheels. Will i need a camber kit? If yes where can i get a kit for all four tires?
depends on how much you plan on dropping your car.....
i personally have never used a camber kit, just make sure you get an alignment RIGHT after you put on your new suspension...

Every time you adjust the cars height you will need an alignment. As far as what I've researched, you don't need a camber kit as long as you get an alignment to 0 the toe out.

Camber and Toe are 2 different measurements. When you are setting the toe, you're basically setting the tires straight, horizontally. When you try to set camber within specs, you're setting the tires straight, vertically. Caster, on the other hand, is a form of toe wear, but thats a different story. And on the prelude, you cannot make any camber adjustments unless you buy a camber kit.
The only way to know if you need a camber kit is putting the suspension set-up on, set it to what height you want (if they're adjustable), break in the suspension, and get it aligned. How I see it is this; the lower you go (especially going close to no wheel gap), the higher chance you may need a camber kit.

bumpin this back up...i just took my car to get an alignment today after new inner and outer tie rods and the fact that i never got one after i lowered the car. here are the numbers( keep in mind i dont have a camber kit...yet): front right camber -.9 degrees, toe .02": front left camber -2.5 degrees, toe .02": right rear camber -2.3 degrees, toe .09": left rear camber -3.0 degrees, toe .05".
these numbers are all after the alignment obviosuly camber wasnt adjusted becasue i dont have any camber kit and i have no idea why the camber on the front right wheel is so different from the other wheels. Any suggestions? needless to say i think im gonna raise it up a little and get a camber kit.

Camber and toe are 2 diffrent measurements but they are intertwined with each other. ANYTIME you change the vehicles ride height you create an adverse affect on the toe settings. The only reason any one needs a camber kit is if they want the ability to adjust their camber, other wise it is not neccesary for your car to have one even if you lower it. And the only reason you should want to adjust your camber settings is to improve the vehicles handling performance....
