Get an alignment first and see what your suspension specs are. 3in is kinda low so a camber kit might be needed, but most of the time after you lower your car all you need is a proper alignment to correct your toe. I take it you have stock struts so they will eventually blow more than likely because they are not equipped to handle such a drop, but as to how long you have I honestly can't say. Maybe someone else has an answer. But good luck with your ride

$100 is usually for bimmers and benzes and stupid **** like that. German cars are notoriously hard to work on.

70 at firestone for whatever we can do w/o drilling out holes and ordering special bolts

do the alignment first unless you plan on lowering your car more or want adjustable camber for track purposes...if you dont understand y refer to the camber kit thread...we dont need to start that again

Try and go to Firestone or TiresPlus where they do premium lifetime or three year unlimited alignments where you pay a certain $$$. You'll want to get an alignment pronto or else you'll wear your tires real fast. Don't worry about a camber kit. Just have them align the toe as close to zero and then go back after you get some shocks and have them do the same.

lifetime is like 140, however we may not adjust the camber if you buy a kit bc its not a stock thing...depends on how cool the guys at the shop are...buy them food so there happy i love when customers do that

Which firestone do you work at? Is it in the chicago area? I need an alignment on my S2000. I just put a different suspension setup on it. And some new bad *** tires. I need it set to MY specs....LMK if you work at one in the chicago area...I might have to stop by. I kinda wanted to buy the lifetime because I'm always changing **** around.

Homie discounts always welcome. .

I'll even buy you some chineese food or something.

save your money on the strut bars, lower tie bars, pillar bars, pretty rear LCAs and all that other dog **** unless you like wasting money going for that "aggressive look". since your broke, skip the strut bars and get some good shocks. if you are looking at improving your handling i would look at getting an asr subframe brace and a rear sway bar. that will do more for your handling that all those stupid rods put together. and if your car doesnt have negative camber its gonna turn like ****.

3 inches, yes i would get a camber kit. your car will sit better then having your tires are a f'ed up angle under your fenders. and also, your tires will wear alot more even. yes toe is what chews your tires up faster. but over time camber will wear your tires on the insides. and with that much camber it will wear alot, and alot faster then with people that have 2 inches and are saying that camber doesnt wear tires. ive seen it myself. just because it hasnt happened to them doesnt mean it cant happen.

it was only$30 for our 1ton Dodge to get an alignment, so im hopin when i itake my car in its gonna be even cheaper

bleh chinese lol

its in the sw burbs, usu we are iffy about guys wanting to do their own specs but if your a cool dude its all good...im gonna have mine set once i get my car back together. **** if you come buy just say your good friends with me, one of the service writers will hook u up. as long as you dont abuse the lifetime itll be cool...one guy who used to come in obv tracked his stock miata and always had us custom set his specs at least once every two weeks, wasnt to much of a hassle but the dude was a dick and the techs didnt like it bc they get payed less flag rate for a lifetime so we revoked his **** lol.
