wheel and tire question for my FA please.

Default wheel and tire question for my FA please.

may be a total noob question but i've tried searching everywhere.

so my uncle has a set of 17 inch old school racing hart wheels that have a tire size of 235 will it fit on my 4 door LX? thanks in advanced also he had the 5 lug conversion done to his 240 whichteh wheels came from is the lug pattern the same?

What's an FA? Is that the 2008 Civic in your sig?

The proper 17" size tire for your car is 215/45-17. 235 sounds too big, but you don't mention the aspect ratio of your uncle's tires (e.g. 235/40-17, 235/45-17, etc).

You would also need to check the width of the wheels to see if it's within the proper range for the tire size you're using, so you may not be able to use those wheels with 215/45-17 tires. The wheel may have the width molded on it somewhere (e.g. 17x7).

Those are too big for your car. You need 215/45-17, not 235/45-17.
