From what I hear the X-ice is a really nice tire. Not to sure about the hankook though, the price seems attractive however.

The other tire to think about is the blizzak ws-50. Currently on sale at tirerack for $53/corner plus shipping fort the 14"

Why are you talking about tires in three different sizes? Are these for three different cars? If this is for a del sol, the proper sizes are 185/60-14 for 14" wheels, 195/50-15 for 15" wheels. NOT 195/55-15 or 195/60-15, which are too big for a del sol. So if those are the choices, then the 185/60-14 is the only one that's the right size for your car.

I realize that the price on the Hankook makes them very attractive. $53/tire with free shipping and $100 off means $112 for the set. Nice! I just don't know how good they are, and I'm guessing they're okay but not the best.

If you are willing to spend more for better winter tires, the Blizzak (REVO1 or WS-50) and the Michelin X-Ice are really good winter tires. And the $53 (plus shipping) that old man neri mentioned is an excellent price (even though it's not as good as those deals at Discount Tire).

its for my hatch. i have a set of steeelies, thats the size for the 14 in. and i also have an extra set of blades, thats the 15 in sizes. the only reason i mentioned those were because of the sale going on, but i guess i will just wait a little more until winter to get the blizzaks.
