This morning, my driver's door woudn't open when I used my keyless remote. I have to now climb in the car through the passenger side. (I switched my driver door out and haven't replaced the door lock from the old door so I can't use the key) I tried the power switch from the inside but the driver's door lock wouldn't go up or down. After the car is running for a while though, I was able to pop the lock up but it wouldn't go back down. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and if it will be a hassle and costly fix.

It is a 98 Acura EL by the way which is basically a Honda Civic.
