Default power door lock problem INSIDE lock...errr

well if it's not one thing it's a motherFather nother...

i have a 2door 92accord, and my driver side lock wont lock if i hit the switch.. but if the door is locked and i hit the switch to unlock it, the lock moves alil bit it tries too... only way i can lock the door from the outside is to stick the key in it and turn it (keyless dont work either on driver side door).. and if i am to lock my driver side door from the inside i gotta do that manualy aswell..

my questoin is, could it be the lock motor or whatever you call it that's fucked up and finally gave out...? that's what i am assuming but i thought i would post it up maybe someone know EXCATLY what is wrong and help me out

you do have your door closed when you try to lock it from the inside right? hondas dont lock when the door is open unless you have the handle open.

Have you tried pressing the power lock while pulling the inside handle? I though mine was f*cked too until someone informed me that it was made that way

the reason you cant lock your door while its open is cause honda made it so you cant lock yourself out. when getting out of the car pull the handle and press the lock switch all you doors should lock
