my problem is that my car lock pin appears to be jammed but whats weird is that when the door is close it goes down and up (manually because the power lock for the drivers side doesn't work) but when the door is open it just wont go down, i have to lock it with the key or pull the inside door handle and push the pin at the same time, passenger door power lock work, car has keylles entry but I think that its because of the jammed lock in the drivers door that the keyless entry wont work, has anyone had this problem before, how can i fix this, when I push the drivers side door pin lock both doors lock, but when I try to open them using the power locks only the passenger side works, thanks

thanks but I am having a problem Im trying to take the 3 screws that hold the loccking assembly in place but I cant get them to move, I am talking about the screws in the side of the door , any advice?

Experienced the same problem as well. It was getting frustrating so I called a local locksmith to fix it. He did a great job with it thank god!
