check ingine light
i need help how to check the engine light.i used the jumper wire but no luck.It only come on when ingine hit 60 mph and normal engine temperature.Turn the key off it disappear.If the ingine is not in idle the chk engine light wont come on.Anyone pls help

Not unless he has a '96 + Car. Those places only carry OBD2 System Testers..
It's "engine" not "ingine" also...
Is it EXACTLY 60mph? Mine normally comes on after the car warms up and a little driving.. Mines the Knock Sensor though..
Actually not sure if you can check, jump the harness, while the cars running or not..

Intresting OBD1 and 0 cant be read at autozone.

Nope, because in '96 OBD2 was made mandatory and universal throughout all car companies. So all other systems/makes have different connectors to check the computers..
