Default anyone have a website showing how to install pistons in block?

im almost done with my d16 (z6) any help would be appreciated. thanks

Get a factory Manual,

The rings have to installed and clocked in a certain direction

do you have a piston ring compressor?


For the most part, install the rings, oil up the sides and the block and the compressor, set up compressor and piston and tap it in

make sure the pistons are clocked (they have little arrows)

also put some rubber tubing on the rod threads to keep them from scratching the cylinder wall

yeah expletive all that if thats your car that you need to have for a dd and not a project car on the side. i would pay someone to do it for me. you don't want to expletive something up while your ahead

You have to learn somehow and start somewhere. Helms is your friend.
And it helps if you had dis-assembled the motor so you know the steps in assembling. Good luck.
