Default 94-96 gauge cluster conversion

I want the 94-96 gauge cluster for my 93 vtec. I know the swap can be done, but what all do i need? Is it difficult? I'm headed to that junkyard today, so I need to know what to grab. I'm probably going to throw the SI cluster in, is that going to be a big deal? well i still have enough tach to see what im doing?

peace

You need the dash board wire harness and the litte grey box that power's the cluster the harness plungs up on both sides to the main harness.the tach is the same just the red line is differnt thats all.

This might be a dumb question... But why would you want to do this?

Have you seen the electro-luminescent gauges on the 94-96 lude? just look at that one and look at yours and tell me which one looks nicer.

Im not sure how much it would run you.i orderd mine off of carparts.com because i could not find it in a junk yare and that was the cluster alone it cost me like 250$
for that and i thought at the time you could just plug it right up and it would work
but i learned the hard way that it would not work like that. Then i got lucky and found the little box and the wire harness in a junk yard one day and got it for like
100$ but any way i told the guy on preludeonline how to do it and i think he got every thing for like 100$ from the junk yard.If you can find a si or vtec with all the parts bro good luck you will like the conversion.

man someone wanted to sell me theirs for like $75 like a year ago, shoulda jumped on it then... i was thinking of offering the junkyard $40, but i guess its going to be much higher. hopefully if i buy the fender, i can get them both for a deal. maybe the fender and gauges for $150

Yeah man you should of jumped on it.Even if you have to pay like 150$ for it thats
good go ahead and get it thats good if its for all the parts the litte grey box that powers the cluster cost like 400$ brand new i almost gave up on it but i found the box and the wire harness for cheap so i went for it.
