How do you take off gauge cluster needles

How do you take off gauge cluster needles
i tried just pulling the needle off , ive seen other people do it that way but for some reason these won't come off i pulled until the gas needle broke good thing that cluster was broke anyway but i still need to get the rest off so i can get these eurolite inlays off i dont want to break them all casue parts of the cluster still work and i could sell those like the tach
but anyway has anyone had this problem and do you know how to take them off without breaking them

good luck with it
i had a spare cluster i broke all the needles off of it
it seem like they were glued on

i here you but im tryin to put these inlays on the good cluster so i have to take the needles off the right way on that one

your not suppose to take the needles off you are suppose to finesse the overlay over and around the needle
