Default Fresh Single Stage Paint Job HELP!

I just got my 94 cx hatch painted with a single stage paint (Magnesium Silver) and i want to protect the paint from fading/scratches etcc. I know single stage has no clear so does anyone know what to apply to protect the paint? maybe even immatate a clear coat? Thanks

UPDATE

Ok.. i now know the clear is incorporated with the paint in the single stage paint job. Is there a way to apply a product of some sort that will immate a clear coat (without actually spraying the car) Maybe a liquid that can be applied?

My baby haha

I am not a pro, but from my experience I think the clear is incoporated in to the paint. So I believe as long as you just wax/polish it'll be fine.

Indeed, it's incorporated all into 1 stage

Like above, polishing it and waxing it will protect it from the sun. But thats about it for SS paint.

how soon after geting a fresh paint job can you start waxing? my friend recently had to repaint his bumper and the shop said to not wax until after 6 weeks.

btw, looking good. hope it stays that way.

Yes 6 weeks or the grit in the wax will scratch the paint.

Just stick with waxin it. I usually tell people wait about 2 months to do any waxing just cuz most people are inpatient and do stuff when their not suppose to.
