everything turns on, radio, lights, dash, everything. i got a new battery and it did nothing. it just wont turn over. we ended up push starting it, but now that its home, i still have no idea whats wrong with it, and i dont feel like getting screwed again by the acura dealership. any help would be appreciated. thanks guys

 

does it make a noise when you initially go to start it

 

if it doesnt turn over then most likely is your starter. if it only makes a click when turn it over then im almost sure of it. since you were able to push start it and drive home fine im for sure it is. if you have a wrench set handy thats all u need to replace it so id say do it your self. its maybe 2 or 3 bolts and its right in the front so its easy to get to.

 

check for power to you Starter solenoid for B+ and also from the ignition switch. Check for continuity from the starter case to the negative terminal of the battery.

When you go to crank it nothing happens or will it click or will it crank slowly ?

 

how much for the hood wat kind of hood?

i had to replace my starter it had the same problem ususally around 250-300
