Check engine light . . .
My check-engine-light came on last night. I had it diagnosed and the computer read-out was "EGR air flow diminished". The tech said it was probably the EGR going bad. My '98 Prelude has 129,000 miles. Does anyone agree that this technician is (most likely) correct? If so, any suggestions where I can buy one for less than the $209.00 they'd charge me?

Yeah, you're wrong
The EGR flow is probably 'diminished' because it just has a lot of build up inside...it happens all the time. You can remove it and clean it out and also try to clean any of the ports that you can and that should help with the CEL. Also try searching fo other threads on how to clean the EGR valve.
