Is it on the electrode side or the ceramic side? Is there oil in the spark plug tube as well?

driver side, oil all over spark plug chamber, and coating the plug pretty well. no other liquids draining though

Is the tube seal in bad condition? It's the rubber grommet that's on the underside of the valve cover. That's the most common cause of leaks in the tubes, otherwise, it's a rocker arm o-ring.

Try replacing the spark plug tube seals and see if that does the trick.

You need a complete valve cover gasket kit, VC gasket, nut and bolt rubber washers, 4 spark plug well gaskets. Also replace the PCV Valve and hose, its good insurance.

EDIT
YOu also may want to think about changing your plug wires, but that one may clean up just fine, so clean it good.

Unless it's swimming in oil, you should be OK for two more days.

listen to this guy, rocker arm o-ring is also a common problem.. iv had this problem twice before i put a japanese engine in my car. but ya like everyone has said try replacing the VC gasket first. if not either replace the rocker arm o-ring yourself or spend tons of money getting a shop to do it for you..... or replace that engine......lol
