the oil isn't getting by the spark plug. so when you say grommet you replaced the one on the underside of the valve cover for each spark plug hole?

There are 4 round gaskets that go inside the valve cover. it should of came with the VC gasket set. pull your vc off and flip it up side down and you will see where the wire goes through. around that hole should be a round gasket. replace those, and youll stop leaking oil into the plugs. What you replaced are the top VC bolt grommets.

have you checked your valve seals? if you changed your spark plug gromments then that might be the other culprit.

x2
yeah, what would you suggest then? he said that he already changed head gasket, valve cover gasket and the grommets. usually if all that is fixed and he still has oil in the spark plug hole the only other suggestion would be valve seal. so, what else could it be??

you do know honda's have a upper seal and a lower seal for the valves, right? so if one of the seals is bad then its getting in trough the valve train. basically saying that he checked on top and on the bottom, but he didn't check in the middle(valve seal)
