Well here I am again. Now some of you know I just swapped a b20 in my Ek Sedan. All was well till i got it back. I have a check engine light for a crank position sensor but my b20 dosent call for one.?? Any way to make it go away?? Secound I have a o2 sensor problem but I dont know what it is, they are all connected but im still throwing a code. I also have a bad Idle Air Control Valve and last but not least my car is running really rich???? I need lots of help.. Who wants to start first??

i thought the b20 was obd2... besides the old prelude b20..
it should have a sensor on the oil pump.. check for a connector by the alternator.. see if its hooked up..
what codes are your throwing?
maybe the o2 sensor is bad/faulty? maybe its not wired correctly..?
a bad iacv? is it wired correctly.. id had to swap pins at the ecu and depin and replace my 3 wire connector with a 2 wire connector...
maybe that wasnt done.. or done right..?
did you do the swap? running rich? could be from the o2 sensor.. could be from the map sensor.. maybe the iacv.. maybe another problem..

 

if ur running rich..wut kind of ecu do u have...

No i didnt do the swap i had someone do it. I am gonna check everything that you said tommorow. I also called the previous owner of the intake mani and he said the iacv is deff bad so i am gonna replace it. as for the o2 sensors im not sure about anything with that. I will run the scan tool for myself tommorow and let you know exactly what codes im throwing.

I am running a stock obd2 ls Computer.

 

youll need that crank position sensor if running obd2, its not hard to see and if it doesnt have one you may want to think of putting one in, its not to hard to do

 

i am looking into it tommorow so i will see if its there and if not then i am gonna get one. Also does anyone know if an iacv off of a 96 gsr will work with a ls intake mani?
