Default Password JDM Front Strut Tower Bar

http://passwordjdm.com/Passwor....aspx

I like the look of this 3 point front strut tower bar.

Does anybody have any experience of this product? Does the firewall part need holes drilled to fit, or are they already there?

And will it fit on an RHD car (with the master cylinder on the left of the engine bay)?

Thank you in advance for your input

Streetwerkz has one, PM him, or hopefully he will chime in. I am pretty sure it will not fit a RHD car. They might have one available for RHD though. I would hope so anyway considering the company's name has JDM in it. I would probably give Assword a call and see what they say.

Thanks for that info.

Found this pic in Streetwerkz build thread: (hope its ok to use this)

It doesn't look like it will clear an RHD MC. If it does it will be VERY tight. I will have to find out off Password if they can supply an RHD one.

For what it is worth. I would go with a Cusco ST like I have:

No worries of RHD issues, and I doubt Assword makes a RHD model. Also Cusco is preloadable, and it really made a difference on my car. Allot of the inherent EF creaks are gone, with 2 turns preload. If you really want a 3 point though I would look at an Explicit Speed unit. I am sure he would make you a RHD unit.

cough ' ESP ' cough

No affiliation, just think those bars are pretty awesome. But honestly I have heard nothing but good things in regards to the Neuspeed front bar.

Yeah ESP is good too as I mentioned. They are also referred to as Explicit Speed Performance or ESP. Neuspeed is good too. Not to turn this into a for sale thread or anything, but I have one laying around that needs a new home.

I've seen it looks to be an ok bar but probbly wouldn't work on a rhd setup. I have a real Trust bar and like it alot.

I honestly love my skunk2 Bar. It's easy to take off if I need to do work around the intake manifold, and is much stiffer than the neuspeed tube type.

I got mine from heel toe. Not sure if they still carry it though. Give them a call, and see what they say.

I have the password 3 pt front, its great. Why is everyone so unimpressed with it? I got mine new for the same price as that ESP one, which looks cheaper in my opinion

I have a question about a bar I bought today. I was browsing Craigslist and I found a true mugen strut bar for sale. The guy was asking $60. Those are $290 brand new, the guy didnt realize what he had till he sold it to me. HAHA The only problem is I have a 89 civic hatch, and the engine bays are a little narrower than the 92-95 civics. I was thinking I could get it welded to the brackets, seeing as the brackets are welded, I figured it would work that way. I dont know if it would still function as its purpose, I might be able to get it to fit but I think its too long. Thanks ahead of time for the input.
