ive got a ls tranny with obx lsd. im wondering if putting the b16 final drive in my tranny would helpout. Im making around 4-500 whp. im thinking this would make a pretty good tranny, maybe like a gsr for cheaper. gimme some ideas thanks chris

 

It'll help out a little bit but it won't quite be like a GSR tranny. LS final drive is 4.26 and B16 is 4.40. LS 3rd sux *** no matter what. You can find GSR gearsets in the marketplace. You can use them with an LS/B16 diff. If you use a B16 final drive and GSR gears it'll be a GSR tranny with a closed bearing diff. GSR's are open bearing diffs.
