motor identification

Default motor identification

whats the easiest way to identify what motor you have in your car?i think its the d16z6 but im not 100% postitive

The code is stamped on your block, to the left of your header, directly to the right of the transmission, right along where it meets the block. Its visible just by looking down at it.

yea you should see it quite easily but if ur block is dirty you will have to clean off the area mentioned in the post above. Then you shall see it.

look to the right of your head on the timing belt cover and there is a sticker with it on there
