Default clutch problem?

Hi, I got a 1996 GSR and my car is starting to act up. I'm not sure what is the problem but I think its probably the clutch.

When I start the car and try to be it into first or any gears it won't work. It just doesn't want to go in.

I turn it off and go through the gears fine. Start it up again and put it into first, when letting off the clutch the car shakes like its going to staff out while I'm giving gas still. While this is happening I try to put it in neutral but its difficult also.

Anybody have any idea what the problem is here. The problem is hard to describe. Since I can't drive it anywhere I won't be able to get it to a shop and why I come here first to get some opinions of the problem.

Most likely the clutch. Check the fluid level too and you can also try bleeding it out.

My guess is a spring on the disc popped out.

it also sounds like that your fluid lines have air in it...

like iVteC_PoWeR said, check the fluid, and bleed it out, see if you have a leak. That could also be the problem...

I just went out and bleed/flush the clutch fluid. Start her up and still can't put her into any gear with the clutch down to the floor.

So I guess I got to go look for a new clutch now. Going to do some research on which one I should get, but if anyone have any suggestions for a daily driver, please do.

Do you guys suggest getting a lighter flywheel or should I just get it resurface?

If youre not looking for any serious power than an Exedy Stage 1 clutch with a 12lbs flywheel should work great. Or if you wanna save money just get your current flywheel resurfaced.

With a new clutch install I've been hearing the rear main oil seal should be replaced also. I can't seem to find it though. Doesn't it go by another name? The only other one I see if the Input Shaft Seal. Anyone know?
