Is there any way to make my stock throttle cable work? The car is a 94 civic coupe. I do know that there is a special bracket that I can buy but I was just wondering if there were any tricks to use the stock one the way it is

 

u can not make stock d series throttle cable to work.i have b16a into a eg.i use del sol throttle bracket with acura 94 up integra throttle cable..GSR wont fit cause it is too short

 

get a cable for a 95 del sol vtec b16a3 from the dealer, it is only like $20

don't I need a bracket also They are telling me that they only have the cable. Or is the bracket connection point further back so I can use the stock bracket?

u can not use stock bracket..it wont bolt on..u need a del sol vtec b16a bracket
