Default cel code 1 on civic hatch b18c5

Hi guys, I need some help here. I have a civic 94 hatch with a b18c5 in it and my check engine light is for months on!! It's giving me code 1. What could that be??
I also am using a p72 chipped ecu. Will this code affect performance on my car??
Any help??

i believe it causes the car to run rich until you replace the sensor and reset the computer.
