Default Help CEL code 41

I need help. I have a 97 Honda Civic Hatch and just recently my CEL came on. The code says its the Primary oxygen sensor heater and there is a circuit malfunction. Any help would be appreciated.

#1. Buy a Helms.

#2. Buy a multimeter.

#3. Follow the Helms directions utilizing your newly bought meter.

If you don't have a meter, you can't measure the resistance of the O2 heater circuit. Soooo....no meter, then shotgun it and just replace it.

After an ECU reset, does the CEL come back on immediately after starting the car? More than likely the heater element opened up. I had this happen to my 99 hatch (D16Y7) though it happened to the 2nd O2 sensor (Code 65) and not the primary but the troubleshooting process is one in the same.
