Default JDM FRONT ITRS ?????

QUESTION FOR THE ITRS OR DC2S WITH JDM FRONTS... HOW MANY OF YOU GUYS CAN JACK UP YOUR CAR IN THE FRONT LIKE STOCK WITH JDM FRONT?? I RECENTLY PUT ON MY JDM FRONT AND I ONLY DRILLED OFF THE TOP PART AND THE BOTTOM PART OF WHERE THE HOOD LATCH IS.. JUST WONDERING..

If the conversion is done properly, there's no reason why you can't use the normal jacking points.

i know what your saying tecnically yeah if done correctly, why not just use the tow hooks to be on the safe side?

tow hooks if the best place to jack up the front end i dont care how good your welding is nothings better then the machine at honda that did the usdm front end on the car

from the way he said he did the conversion, its the same way i did mine. you dont cut anything but the T bar. no welds structural welds are drilled, so jacking it up from the stock location is fine

Ditto, this was one of the reasons I chose the T-Bar over the full radiator swap.

a couple of guys that i know with jdm front can't jack it up front because it was done sooooo shiitty.. i was just wondering.. plus i'm not going to weld mine in, instead just bolt it in at the spot weld and the bottom of the T

... you should still weld it in even if its not structural. at least so you feel comfortable driving on the freeway knowing your front end wont fly up... ahahaha i just pictured that.

taking it to a shop to have them just put a couple welds on it is like max 200$
jdm front end is 2000+ at LEAST.
worth it?
yesh.
can most of us get floorjacks under our front bumpers with JDM front ends?
no...

Not that I'm doing a front end conversion, but is it really unsafe to life the car up at the front and place it on jack stands? You only need it for a few minutes....although it is alot of weight up at the front...

Just curious.
