Hi everyone..i was considering the Zex stage 1 cam for my D16y8...what kind of noticeable gains will i get from this set up...I am also wanting to know if the Zex cam will work with a Turboed Setup on my D16y8...any experiences or ideas are appreciated..thanks a lot

wow, noone helped him?? i hear that you can gain up to 14 hp from the cam and i would assume that you would want a turbo cam if going turbo, somehting about duration and lift that jsut works better for turbo. then again both should be better than stock, i could be wrong though.

 

the stage one should be fine with turbo and nitrous. The higher lift cams and the duration can allow for some boost to escape. IMO, the stage 1 cams are almost a waste. For the same price you can run stage 2's on stock internals, with more room for upgrading. You won't be pleased for too long wth the stage 1. Back from the dead though.
