Is that an exhaust? It won't gain you more than a few hp....custom is the way to go anyhow.

hawkze its a piggy back ecu. stub all i hace is bolt ons: intake, exhaust, MSD Coil w/ 10mm platinum wires and tein suspension.

couple of months from now a friend is giving me his stock evo 9 turbine...figure all i can boost up to is about 8-10 lbs anyway and its free. i know ill need the neo and some other goodies for that. just wondering how much (estimate) HP gain with bolt ons and anything i should know before tuning?

Gotta give him some credit for not losing sight of why it should be that anyone owns a "nice car."

You don't want to be tuning a turbo setup on something like that.

go for a real tunable ems like hondata, crome, or neptune.

OK, haha, I hadn't heard of it before You could give it a shot...there is almost always some gain to be found tuning the A/F ratio and timing, but like mgags said, it will be crap for a turbo setup.

why would you get your car tuned just for a exhaust upgrade. unless you are boosted or all motor setup and have yet to get a tune
