Default g22 hybrid no vtec?

ok we just finished a g22 hybrid swap in my friends 5thgen lude h22 head on f22b2 bottom end. The problem is that vtec is not kicking in on the dyno we check the vtec wiring pressure swtich and vtec solenoid it was all good and up to par and no metal shavings in the solenoid screen. what can it be? thanks in advance

sounds like you didnt remove the oil control orfice in the F22b2 block... It must be removed to get adequate oil pressure for VTEC...

What are you using to tune? If it's a nonVTEC basemap that could be a problem. And you need to remove that plug if you didn't.

yea we are using hondata h22 base map we pretty dyno tune already wtih no vtec 248 whp and 235 ftlb tq. After we remove that plug we goin to go back to the dyno and try to hit 300 whp heres the dyno sheet
Dyno Sheet:

Motor:
F22 block & H22 head.
All stock.[/quote]
