Default Vtec Wiring

Hey peeps i bought a honda civic lx hatch with a d15 sohc vtec but from some reason i dont think the guy that did the swap was intellagent i dont feel the vtec kicking it at the right rpm and i dont feel it at all man is there a problem with the wiring or what should i do about this problem...thanks

U probably would get a cel if it wasn't working
Ur probably just expecting too much
But u can just check the wiring urself
Vtec only consists of 2 wires

1 to the solenod
&
Oil Pressure

Check to see if u have a vtec ecu also
