I was driving home and i started to hear a clicking sound and when I turned onto my street the CEL started blinking and then my engine died. I looked under the hood and the number one spark plug wire was disconnected from the distributor. I plugged it back on but the car would not turn over. Please give me any kind of input. Is it possible the wires are bad or the spark plugs? What should I do?

 

hard to tell without seeing the car or hearing it in person but you could jump your ecu and find out what code your car is throwing..its a start

 

changed out the spark plugs. still no luck

 

did you pull the code yet? need more info before anyone can troubleshoot..

 

i did not have a chance to get the code before it was cleared. How do i get the code to pop back up so I can get it read?

 

check your dizzy rotor and cap.

 

Got the distributor replaced car started right up.
