I am subscribing...I would think the cheaper option would be a JDM P27 ECU right? The SOHC VTEC...I think they are OBD0, but you wouldn't go wrong with a P28 OBD1 ECU, but might cost more to change overe to OBD1.

I wanna know this also,
If you are tuning, is it better on an OBD0 or an OBD1 ECU. Any differences...

I would think P28 (which of course is obd1). The Jdm d15b is a "three stage" vtec (for fuel economy), so the p28 isn't the exact ecu for the motor, but I would assume it would work. Maybe not...

OBD0 ecus don't have vtec other then the PR3 and PW0 (B16A ecus).

You want a P28, OBD1. I started making swap harnesses for them. PM me if you want to buy one. They are cheaper then Rywire.

I'm sure you do great work
Always good to see more people doing stuff for these old cars

Your info is correct you do want a p28 or you can run a p08.

if you want to stay obd0 you can use a ps9 and chip it with turboedit for vtec use

obd-1 computer's use a more powerful processor. resulting in a better, more thorough tune.
