Default stock head studs

K guys got a few quick questions. My car got dyno tuned on 6.5 psi and made 180whp/152wtq, cranked up the boost an maxxed out my fuel pump. So I just got my 255 fp in and I want to put it in. Do I have to get it tuned again, or just make sure the fuel pressure stays the same? On that note can I achive 230-250 whp on the stock head studs? Its been torqued down to 80 ft/lbs.

I think you should tune it again. Not so big deal. I made same thing and i needed to retune my fuelmap in boost.

no you will not need to tune it again, why would you? if the fuel pressure is same it's getting the same amount of fuel as it was before.
and you'll probably be fine w/ stock head studs....I daily drove a bone stone 100,000miles LS turbo at ~250whp on 12psi for almost a year with no problems....not saying it wouldn't be a good idea, but you should be fine.

recheck to make sure all your fuel is the same and just check your AF to make sure the additional fuel flow hasn't affected anything and stock head studs will be fine. i got my bone stock LS on 15 psi on a GT30R and do probs with the headgasket

Why would he need a retune? it's already been tuned at 6.5psi on a certain fuel pressure, if the fuel pressure is the same (which it should be) then everything else will remain the same. the 255lph pump has the ability to run at higher pressure more reliably and with the same stock lines at the same fuel pressue it's still moving the same amount of fuel (provided everything else is the same).

when i change stock fuelpump to walbro, my afr in boost change 11,8>11,2! @14psi. And with same fuel pressure. that's why.

Edit: In 6000-7000rpm...

If you dont want to rise fuelpressure, then you dont need that. I'am running with modified stock one.

I'd be more concerned about your bearings then your headgasket...

Is that's a single cam or dual ?

If single you'll want to go to ARP studs.

Yea, I just checked turboD16. I answered your post there.
