Well, I have a problem here with my 98 civic hatchback!

The problem is that my fuse for the horn and the brake light keeps popping on me!
I’ve replaced the fuse so many times! Everytime I step on the brake pedal, the fuse blows,
so I have no brake lights and no horn. I know that it means there is a short somewhere, but
I seriously don’t know where to check!? This all happened right after the bad storm we had on
Thursday, September 20. After driving into a huge puddle of water, my horn just stops working!
Never realized that my brake lights didn’t work either until the night of HIN!

So if anyone knows of where to look first, please let me know…I’ve been driving around
this entire weekend with no brake lights. I don’t want to get a citation or anything on this, so
the faster the help, the better!

This only happens when I step on the brake pedal…no lights, no horn! AAAAHhhhhhHHhhhh!!!!!!!!!

its most likely your horn. you said you drove threw a puddle and your horn is inyour engine bay, try and disconnect it from the horn and replace your fuse try it agian if it still doest it, then go to the next step, proscess of elimiation go to your harnes disconect it blow it out with air and reconnect...check all conection for continuity...hope it works
